Can we add on extra hours?

Absolutely! 

Can we just do design, venue sourcing, budgeting and/or coaching calls without coordination? 

Decor set-up is included, however we don't do any heavy lifting and if decor set-up is too extensive, we'll need to hire another assistant.

How do you assist with decor set-up?

Can we add on a la carte services as needed?

We recommend 12 months out for most venue spaces in Austin & the Hill Country, but thanks to our venue connections, we have options for last-minute bookings, as well.

How far out should I start looking for a venue? 

While we specialize in Austin and the surrounding areas, we're always up for an adventure. Let us know what you have in mind, and we'll see if we can make it happen!

Do you offer these services outside of Austin? 

We've spent years building direct relationships with 250+ Austin venues. We regularly update our information on pricing expectations, policies, and general booking availability — not just what's posted online. No outdated info or wild goose chases here.

How do you know about all these Austin wedding venues? 

Couples spend countless hours across 2-3 months researching and touring venues. WhereAbouts Wedding Co clients, on the other hand, typically tour just 3-4 pre-vetted venues and save hundreds (if not thousands) through direct questions and smart contract negotiation. Plus, you won't waste your precious PTO on tours of venues that were never going to work anyway.

What's the real time/money savings here?

We don't accept commissions from venues or vendors. You're paying us directly for our expertise, so our only agenda is finding you the perfect spot for your big day. We'll tell you the real pros and cons of each venue, including things they don't advertise.

Do you get kickbacks from venues you recommend? 

Venue coordinators are the venue's BFF. We're yours. They handle the space; we handle everything else – from wrangling vendors to ensuring your grandparents know where they stand in the procession.

What makes you different from the coordinator my venue offers? 

We take over vendor communication after the walkthrough (around 6-8 weeks out). We confirm all timelines and make sure everyone's on track.

Can I combine multiple services?

The earlier, the better! But we know inspiration can strike at any time. Give us a shout, and we'll do our best to accommodate you, even if your wedding is just around the corner.
